MORE ABOUT AUGUST'S ESS SPEAKER:
Greg Raymond is a renowned Manresa retreat master and the retired owner of Raymond Jewelers Inc. For 37 years, he ran the family’s business that his father started in 1965.
A New Orleans native, Greg grew up in Metairie, attended Archbishop Rummel High School and graduated from LSU with a degree in Business. During his time at LSU, he had the honor of playing football for the LSU tigers from 1978-1982.
Greg is currently a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Kenner where he lectors and is a eucharistic minister. Prior, he was a parishioner of St Clement of Rome Parish for many years where he was Director of Family Ministry, Captain of the Eucharistic Ministers, Director of the Rosary Ministry and President of the Pastoral Council.
Today, Greg leads retreats at Manresa House of Retreat as well as gives days of reflection at the Cenacle Retreat House in Metairie. He also gives Lenten Missions and Advent Nights of Reflection.
